That’s why we’ve established our own medium-scale optical molding and assembly facility in Dongguan, China: Yiguang Technology, the dedicated manufacturing arm of Yighen. This factory is fully owned and operated by Yighen, ensuring seamless quality management and responsive production support throughout the entire product lifecycle.

In-House Manufacturing Capabilities

Unlike many suppliers who rely on third-party vendors, Yighen’s Dongguan facility is vertically integrated, with end-to-end control over tooling, injection, coating, and assembly.

• Precision Injection Molding Lines:
  Class 100,000 cleanroom molding workshop equipped with vertical and horizontal injection molding machines suitable for PMMA, PC, COP, OKP, ZEONEX, and other high-end optical resins.

• Diamond Turned Mold Insert Fabrication:
  Using our Toshiba ULC-100F(S) and ULC-100D(S) diamond turning systems, mold inserts can achieve up to Ra 0.001μm and P-V ≤ 0.01μm, ensuring ultra-clear replication fidelity.

• Advanced Ultra-Precision Grinding and Polishing:
  Toshiba ULG-100D HYBS3 and NanoTech 650FG enable precision finishing of mold parts and optical inserts with Ra ≤ 3.0nm, maintaining production-grade consistency.

• Modular Assembly Lines:
  Flexible assembly cells for various lens formats—SWIR lenses, fisheye assemblies, telecentric lenses, and more. Integrated opto-mechanical testing ensures each product meets its performance spec before delivery.

All mass-produced optics undergo strict in-process QC, final inspection, and full traceability across each batch. Our metrology lab includes:

• Interferometers (Zygo-style) for wavefront and form deviation

• White light interferometers for surface roughness (Ra) inspection

• Contact profilometers, CMMs, and digital microscopes

• Optical axis centering, MTF test benches, and focal length measurement

Our team performs full SPC (Statistical Process Control) and CPK analysis to ensure every lot meets customer-defined tolerances.
